Artist's Comments

This picture took me a really really really long time.

So first, I colored the original line art, found something wrong, and had to get rid of everything to fix the proportion. Then I started to color and found that the legs really irked me.

I thought the feeling would pass, but it didn't, so another 2 hrs of coloring was scrapped.

Then I thought I may as well make her a full length, but Nooo... I couldn't get her legs to work right, so I gave up and let this picture stand for about 2 days.

Finally, I colored her...and I decided to go for a more realistic-ish look, so that took me a while to get it right...

Anyway, the amount of time was about 21 hrs... a record for me.

And just to let you know, this is my elf rogue... so far, in the campaign I've been playing her in, she's pretty much been useless... but she's nice to look at. x3

Tools: Wacom and Corel Painter
Time: 21 hours and a handful of minutes
Listening to: ...get this- "The Last Unicorn" (great movie...if you haven't seen it, then you're seriously uncultured.. o.O)

Certainly looks worth the trouble - it turned out great! The purplish color scheme works out great. I think the coolness works with the roguish part of the character. Otherwise, she would look too calm, but with the purple scheme, the calm more translates to sneakiness.
